My Background in Cybersecurity

I go by Jynx, and I’m excited to share my journey in cybersecurity with you. I created this blog to share knowledge, personal stories, and essential information to help you navigate the digital world. Whether you’re just starting, an experienced engineer, or simply interested in cybersecurity, I hope my content will strengthen your knowledge and inspire others to begin their journey.

My hacking experience started with playing Diablo 2 on PC. My brothers and I would create bots to automate popular runs in the game, helping us gain the most experience. As we ventured online, we developed chatbots to maintain control of channels. I always enjoyed helping my brother build his computers and wanted to continue learning about technology.

My curiosity for security didn’t stop there. While I took a detour into the military, I found myself drawn to the broader field of security. After leaving the military, I pursued further studies, gained certifications, and nurtured my curiosity to understand how things work.

Why I Started This Blog

Soon, I will be starting a position as a security engineer. Throughout my career, I’ve held many foundational roles in IT, such as Help Desk and Level 2 Support. I constantly seek ways to improve and help others become more secure and privacy-aware.

My main goal in creating this blog is to educate others and keep everyone informed. The cybersecurity world has fascinating news stories, and I want to break them down into easy-to-understand content for everyone. I hope to cover past stories, raise security awareness, and even share hacking challenges.

I also want to build a community of friendly people who help each other. I enjoy watching John Hammond’s videos because they are easy to watch and enjoyable for everyone. Similarly, I aim to create content that is both informative and accessible.

Finally, I want this blog to help me grow as a writer and security researcher. I aim to provide the latest information and trends in the field, helping both myself and my readers stay up-to-date.
